The mother of one attacked her husband with a cutlass while he was sleeping at an uncompleted building on October 13th. Explaining why she killed her husband, Blessing told Sunday Sun
"My husband was fond of chasing me with cutlass whenever we have misunderstanding. Whenever he brings out his cutlass, I will run out of the house for him. On that particular day, October 13, I had a misunderstanding with him and immediately he picked up his cutlass and chased me out of the house. Later he went to an uncompleted building to sleep. Then I said to myself before my husband will kill me, let me kill him first. While he was asleep I went to where he kept his cutlass and killed him. In spite of a loud outcry, Winifred Agimelen and her three children have been sent back to Nigeria after living in Montreal for six years.
The Canadian government deportation of Winifred Agimelen and her three children to Nigeria Sunday night hit a temporary snag, as it turned out that the mother did not have a necessary Nigerian visa for her third child, who is Canadian.

WONDERFUL, DOG TURN TO ROCK

This touching picture shows a team of rescuers as they work tirelessly to save a dog after it fell into hot tar in western India. The animal was left unable to move after it slipped into the thick, sticky substance and it cooled - coating its fur in a solid layer of tar, pictured main. The rescuers, who worked over two days to free the animal, described the tar as being 'as hard as rock' but he was back to normal at the end, pictured inset.
