  • Role of the learner: Self-directed and independent. 
Heutagogy
  • Definition: Self-determined learning, a step beyond andragogy. 
  • Focus: The learner manages their own learning process and discovers knowledge through novel experiences. 
  • Role of the learner: A self-managed learner who develops the capability to learn how to learn. 
Peeragogy
  • Definition: A framework focused on learning in a collaborative community.
  • Focus: Co-creation of knowledge, where learners are both teachers and learners simultaneously.
  • Role of the learner: An active participant and contributor in a learning community. 
Cybergogy
  • Definition: Learning that takes place in digital or online environments.
  • Focus: Engaging with technology to facilitate learning, balancing cognitive, emotional, and social aspects.
  • Role of the learner: A participant in technology-rich learning environments.
